BWE Mens B -v- Abingdon D (Babolat league – div 8) BWE Mens B had a really good 8-1 win over Abingdon D. Joe Badi and Mark Wolton at 1st pair beat the Abingdon 1st pair 6-2, 6-2 and the 2nd pair 6-3, 0-6, 7-6. Jeremy Turner and Alex Honey had a really good match.
BWE Ladies -v- Goring (Babolat league – div 2) BWE ladies had a brilliant 8-1 victory over Goring. Claire Oldfield and Wendy Eves Dickins at 1st pair beat the Goring 1st pair 6-0, 4-6, 7-6 and beat the 2nd pair 6-3, 6-4. Elaine Madle and Andi Padbury at 2nd pair had a really good match
BWE Mixed B -v- North Oxford D (Babolat league – div 5) BWE B suffered a 0-8 loss to a strong NO side playing in very windy conditions. Rob Jones and Andi Padbury at 1st pair just lost 4-6, 6-7 to the NO 1st pair but were easily beaten 1-6, 0-6 by the 2nd pair.
