A tough match against Tysoe A which BWE lost 3-6. The Men for BWE, Paul Fuller, Scott Thrower and Pete Vance lost 4-7, 5-6 but Paul and Pete won 8-3. The ladies Karen Symonds, Viv Cadahy and Andi Padbury lost 4-7, 4-7 but Karen and Andi won 6-5. Second mixed Viv and Scott won 9-2

BWE Mens team had an impressive 8-1 victory over Bicester C. Paul Barnes and Sean Pettitt beat the Bicester 1st pair 6-2, 7-6 and beat the 2nd pair 6-2, 6-1. Tyler Pettitt and Bertie Fawcett Shapland at 2nd pair beat the Bicester 1st pair 6-0, 6-2 and beat the 2nd pair 6-1, 1-6, 6-0

BWE Ladies had a well earned 6-3 victory over Wychwood B. Anna Haynes and Kat Kurgane at 1st pair had a brilliant afternoon losing just 6 games all afternoon. They beat the Wychwood 1st pair 6-1, 6-3 and the 2nd pair 6-0, 6-2. Karen Brooker and Andi Padbury had a hard battle against the Wychwood

BWE Mixed suffered a defeat to Abingdon C by 1 set to 8. At 1st pair Philip Kelling and Pia Ramirez lost 6-2, 0-6 6-7 to the Abingdon 1st pair and 2-6, 2-6 to the 2nd pair. Jonty Duffy and Steph Lea at 2nd pair lost 1-6, 3-6 to the 1st pair and 0-6, 2-6

BWE B beat Charlbury B 5-4 in a very tight first match of the summer season. Tyler Pettitt and Phil Kelling lost 5-6,  Tyler and Mark Cowan won 6-5 but Phil and Mark lost 5-6. The ladies Sophia Pouyanne and Kat Kurgane won 6-5, Sophia and Zoie Pettitt won 8-3and Kat and Zoie won 6-5.

BWE C had a very windy, hard fought victory over Harbury B. Chris Duffy and Craig Baldwin won 6-5, Chris and Paul Fuller won 7-4 but Craig and Paul lost 4-7. For the ladies Karen Symonds and Viv Cudahy won 7-4, Karen and Jenny Dahlman won 7-4 and Viv and Jenny won 6-5. First mixed

In the first summer match of the 2026 season BWE Ladies drew 4-4 with Brackley B. Anna Haynes and Jenny Tucker at 1st pair lost to the very strong Brackley 1st pair 2-6, 1-6 but beat the 2nd pair 6-0, 6-1. Karen Brooker and Andi Padbury at 2nd pair also lost to the Brackley 1st
