BWE ladies were unlucky to lose 3-5 to Benson B in the first ladies match of the Winter season. First pair Karen Brooker and Andi Padbury beat the Benson 1st pair 6-3, 7-6 but halved against the 2nd pair 4-6, 6-3. Jenny Tucker and Viv Cudahy at 2nd pair struggled against the Benson 1st pair losing 0-6, 0-6 but were unlucky not to pick up a set against the 2nd pair, losing 6-6, 6-7
