BWE Mixed had a great 4-4 draw against Deddington. Karen Brooker and Tallis Annersley halved 5-7, 6-4 as the men, Sean and Tyler Pettitt also halved 6-3, 4-6. BWE C lost 1-7 to Brackley D. The West End men Tony Humphries and Paul Fuller lost 3-6, 3-6 but the ladies, Viv Cudahy and Jenny Dahlman halved 6-2, 1-6. First mixed Tony and Viv lost 1-6, 1-6 but Paul and Jenny were unlucky to lose 5-7, 3-6

BWE Ladies lost 3-5 to Appleton. West End first pair Wendy Eves Dickins and Katherine Davenport halved with the Appleton 1st pair 3-6, 6-3 but convincingly beat the 2nd pair 6-0, 6-0. Claire Oldfield and Jenny Tucker at 2nd pair were unlucky not to pick up a set. They lost 4-6, 1-6 to the Appleton
